About Ryan Yam, Psy.D.
Led by Dr. Ryan Yam, Psy.D., a dedicated licensed educational psychologist (LEP4497) with extensive experience in both educational and clinical psychology, including certification as a Neuropsychotherapist, our practice offers a unique and comprehensive approach to mental health and educational support. As a licensed educational psychologist (LEP) and clinical psychological associate (under supervision) in California, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized solutions tailored to the individual needs of our clients.
Dr. Ryan Yam, Psy.D., is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in educational and clinical psychology. Born in Hong Kong and immigrating to the United States during adolescence, Dr. Yam brings a unique perspective shaped by multicultural experiences. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Yam finds fulfillment in family life, being happily married with three wonderful children, and sharing their home with a beloved dog and cat. As a person of faith, Dr. Yam also finds strength and guidance in his Christian beliefs. Bilingual in both English and Chinese, Dr. Yam possesses the ability to seamlessly communicate and provide culturally sensitive support to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Yam's educational journey began at the esteemed University of California, Davis, where he earned his Bachelor's degree. Building upon this foundation, he pursued further education at Alliant International University, obtaining Master's and Specialist's degrees in School Psychology with an emphasis on mental health counseling. Dr. Yam's dedication to advancing his knowledge and expertise culminated in attaining his Doctor of Psychology degree in Educational Psychology from Alliant International University.
