As a parent, I refused to medicate my son, he is now 17, and we started medicating him about 2 years ago. He is doing well, and I somewhat regret not knowing more about parent training and other options. I see so many students and based on my experience, a small percentage of children would definitely benefit from medication. An. ADHD diagnosis should be given with parent training.
